We may collect and process the following data about you: Information that you provide to us on the telephone, on our website (www.albatrosscars.com) (“our site”) or on our mobile application (“our app”). This includes information provided at the time of making bookings for our services or for any other reason if you need to make a complaint or report a problem with our site or our app. If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence. If you contact us by telephone, your telephone call may be recorded. We may also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them. Details of transactions you carry out through our site or our app and of the fulfilment of your bookings. Details of your visits to our site and our app and the resources that you access.
2. IP address and device information
We may collect information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and to report aggregate information to our advertisers. This is statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual. 2.2 We may collect information about your mobile telephone or handheld device (“Device”) or any computer you may use to download or stream a copy of our app onto your Device, including, where available the Device’s or Computer’s unique Devise identifiers, operating system, browser type and mobile network information as well as the Device’s telephone number, for system administration. 2.3 When you use one of our location-enabled services, we may collect and process information about your actual location. Some of our services require your personal data for the feature to work. If you wish to use a particular feature, you will be asked to consent to your data being used for this purpose. Your consent can be withdrawn at any time by switching off the location-based services on your Device. We may disclose your personal information to any member of our group, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries, as defined in section 1159 of the UK Companies Act 2006. 6.2 We may disclose your personal information to third parties: in the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets; if Addison Lee Limited or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by it about its customers will be one of the transferred assets; or if we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our terms and conditions of supply and/or any other agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Addison Lee Limited, our customers, or others. You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. We will usually inform you (before collecting your data) if we intend to use your data for such purposes or if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes. 7.2 You can exercise your right to prevent such processing by checking certain boxes on the forms we use to collect your data. Train station and Bus Station Bookings
All bookings which require going to the Derby train station or Derby bus station cannot be guaranteed that the customer will catch the train or bus on time unless the customer gives themselves 45 minutes travel time from the pickup address to the Derby train station or Derby bus station. This is only if the pickup address is in Derby. Any pickup address out of Derby requires more time for Albatross Cars to guarantee they will catch the train or bus on time.
For example: If you train leaves Derby train station at 7am, we suggest booking your taxi from an address in Derby at the latest 6.15am to guarantee you catch your train on time.
If there are adverse weather conditions, roadworks, or during busy times such as school rush hour between 8am-9am Monday – Friday or there is an accident which has caused delays/traffic around Derby then please give yourself at least 90 minutes travel time from your pickup address to the Derby train station or Derby bus station.
You must also give Albatross Cars at least 24 hours notice on your booking for us to guarantee you arrive at the train station or bus station on time
Albatross Cars is not liable for any costs or damages you may incur due to missing your train or bus unless the above condition are met.
